Any pictures of Irene in the badlands, or newspaper articles on her or by her are solicited for the article. Also any pictures or newspaper of old showing paleontologists at work in the Park or of a 1970 helicopter lift in the Steveville badlands are also sought after for other research projects. The BCCS Library is pleased to announce that we have a new Video Conferencing system for use by the school and the public at our library. This was made possible through an initaitive called RISE ( Rural Information Services initaitivE) that is a project of the southern Alberta Regional Library Systems, of which our Marigold Library is a part of. Video Conferencing allows for multiple live interaction between remote sites. We will have a number of VC sessions available now that our system is in use, to view the complete monthly listings please visit the BCCS website at http://cms.plrd.ab.ca/bccs/. For those not computer literate, a list will also be available in the library and posted at various community sites.
If you would like to receive the BCCS school newsletter by email, please contact Lucy Gray (contact information below).
If you have an event or announcement that you would like to appear in the Cessford Star, please contact Lucy Gray at 403-566-2255 or by email at lucinda.gray@plrd.ab.ca
Have another great week!
